All About Us

Since its formation by a small, determined group of hill and mountain lovers in 1955 the Gloucestershire Mountaineering Club (GMC) has gone from strength to strength and now has a membership of over 120 mountaineers, climbers, walkers, ski tourers, mountain bikers and fell runners, its own hut in Snowdonia and a very active meets list.

 

In addition to the monthly climbing social, at 270 Climbing Park, Gloucester on the first Tuesday of every month, trips are organised to areas such as North Wales, the Lake District, Cornwall, the Peak District and Scotland.
